DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Hermione's hair has always been a prominent feature for her both in her childhood and now, as her sixteen year old self. With hair a bit more sleek these days, there are still days when the know-it-all can't tame her bushy locks.

CLOTHING STYLE: Used to wearing muggle attire, Hermione can be seen wearing jeans, sweaters, shirts, all in simple fashion. When she is attending classes, Hermione can be seen wearing her school uniform consisting of a cloak covering a white long sleeve shirt under a grey vest with her house colors pin stripped down a loose fit neck tie. She wears a skirts that reaches just above her knees with calf-high socks and simple black shoes.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Hermione Granger is considered to be the brightest witch of her age. During the sorting ceremony the Sorting Hat considered sorting her into Ravenclaw but ultimately decided that Gryffindor was the best house for her. She is extremely intelligent and during her first few years at Hogwarts her main focus was her studies and she did not sway from that focus. The downside to her desire to learn is that at first, people saw her as an outsider and someone that wanted attention. In reality, she was just eager to learn about the world around her in which she had been fortunate enough to become introduced to. After some time, she was able to make a few friends, the first of which, where Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley.

Hermione is a very loyal person and will stick to your side once you have befriended her and once you have gained her trust. She sticks up for the underdog and will work tirelessly to help them. A few examples of this is when she bought Crookshanks in her third year at a pet store because no one else wanted him, knitted clothing for the house elves in her fourth year and created S.P.E.W. in hopes to try and free them from their slavery, and she also spent hours creating a defense for a falsely accused Buckbeak. She was not very successful in her efforts but each time she had the determination to continue to support the things she believed in, even when her friends criticized her or teased her because of it.

As far as any romances went for Hermione, she did date Victor Krum during her fourth year for a while, but she had always harbored a one-sided relationship with Ron and the relationship with Victor diminished. Ron finally came into the picture and their friendship became more than a friendship and is still developing and blossoming. There are times where she questions why she likes him, but that's how love goes, isn't it?

Perhaps one of the reasons why the Sorting Hat chose to put Hermione into Gryffindor is that it foresaw her bravery. After her third year at Hogwarts she began to show more of that bravery when she helped Harry and Ron. During her younger years it really wasn't present, but as she matured it began to develop into a resourcefulness that became very useful in sticky situations. To this day, Hermione considers bravery and friends to be more important than studies and intelligence. However, she still believes that one should help themselves when it comes to knowledge and that intelligence is still a very useful thing to have.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Hermione Jean Granger was born on September 19th, 1979 to her parents Jean and Gregory Granger. Both of her parents are Muggle dentists and make a decent living with their professions. Before she was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hermione attended a Muggle school. She has always been an intelligent student, even in the Muggle setting, and excelled in her primary studies. When she was accepted to Hogwarts, she had to wait an extra year to go because she was only 10, and students have to be the age of 11 to be able to attend the school. Her parents were surprised and supportive of her magical abilities and encouraged her to excel in the magical world.

When she entered Hogwarts she was sorted into Gryffindor, although the sorting hat did say she would do well in Ravenclaw. She was enthusiastic about her studies to the point that people were a little taken aback by her behavior. Hermione met Harry and Ron on her first train trip to Hogwarts. During their first year the trio had a rough time getting along. Their friendship endured the falling out because Harry and Ron saved Hermione from a troll that had emerged from the school's dungeons. After that they became friends and spent most of their time together.

To say that her second, third, and fourth years were uneventful would be incorrect, because after the troll incident, she joined Harry and Ron in the fight against Voldemort. She is currently in her fifth year at Hogwarts, and is still helping Harry as much as she can - even though right now he's making things difficult by closing she and Ron out. Though she doesn't really blame him since everyone around him is calling him a liar, and since the Ministry has stepped in at Hogwarts, things are looking any better for anyone. However, as Umbridge was soon called out on her under the table, deviant like behavior, Albus Dumbledore was soon seen back at post as the Head master of Howart; School of Witchcraft and Wizardy as Hermione's sixth year at Hogwart's rolled around. It was clear now that Voldemort was back and was working from within the ministry.

As has become customary, Hermione stays at The Burrow for much of the summer holidays, where she receives her amazing O.W.L. results of ten "Outstandings" and one "Exceeds Expectations", after a panic attack upon the arrival of said O.W.L.s. Despite her nearly perfect score, she was disappointed that she didn't get Outstandings in all her subjects. During her stay with the Weasleys, Hermione once again encounters Fleur Delacour, who is now engaged to Bill Weasley. Her dislike for Fleur deepens with more frequent exposure to her. She is not alone in her dislike, as it is apparent that both Mrs. Weasley and Ginny feel the same way. Hermione continues her passion for her schoolwork in the sixth year, and is even invited by Professor Slughorn to join his Slug Club due to her extraordinary talent at school. However the fast approaching darkness seems to keep Hermione slightly off track, especially when she finds herself distracted by one snobby, pureblood. While trying to keep herself focused on school, Hermione is finding it increasing hard to do so. Especially when dark magic attempted to penetrate the school.

However, as her sixth year came to a close, it was obvious that the time for action was now. it was literally now or never for, Hermione knew that Voldemort was about to reach his peak in ultimate power. Feeling protective of Harry, Ron, her parents and all of whom she had grown to know over the course of her life, Hermione set out with her two boys and made to find the remaining horcruxes. While the journey initially started off dangerous.
